The quest and the desire to be like Christ is a call to holiness. As followers of Jesus, we are called to live a life set apart, reflecting the character and nature of our holy God. We were created for holiness. From the very beginning, God designed us for holiness. We were made in His image, reflecting His character of love, justice, and righteousness. Sin entered the world and marred this divine image, but through Christ’s redemption, we are restored to God’s original plan—a life of holiness.
SCRIPTURE: 1 Peter 1:15-16 (NIV) – “But just as He who called you is holy, so be holy in all you do; for it is written: ‘Be holy, because I am holy.” (1 Peter 1:15-16 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, the call to holiness is not a mere suggestion or a religious obligation; it is a divine invitation to participate in the very nature and essence of God Himself. It involves being set apart from the patterns and values of the world. To live differently, guided by God’s Word and led by the Holy Spirit. Therefore, our heavenly Father, who is holy, calls us to a life that is marked by purity, righteousness, and devotion to Him. As we respond to this call, we embark on a transformative journey that shapes every aspect of our being. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The call to holiness is not a burden, but a divine invitation to participate in the fullness of God’s love and purpose for our lives. It is an opportunity to be set apart, transformed, and to reflect the beauty of Christ to a broken world.

PRAYER: O LORD, help my life. Give me the grace to live a holy and righteous life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
