MAKING THE HOLY SPIRIT PART OF YOUR JOURNEY (2)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Wednesday, 15 January 2025
Focus: Empowered for the Year Ahead
Message: As we step into the new year, the Holy Spirit is our divine companion who empowers, guides, comforts, and leads us into God’s plans and purposes
The new year brings both opportunities and challenges, but we are not called to face them in our own strength. The Holy Spirit empowers us with divine strength, wisdom, and courage to fulfill God’s purposes for our lives. Jesus told His disciples to wait for the Spirit’s power before stepping into their mission, knowing they would need His supernatural ability.
This same Spirit empowers us to overcome obstacles, serve others, and live boldly for Christ. As we step into this year, we can rely on His power to carry us through moments of weakness and to equip us for every good work.
Scripture Reading:
Acts 1:8 – “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, identify areas where you need God’s power to sustain you this year. Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you with His strength, courage, and ability to fulfill your calling. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
The Holy Spirit’s power enables us to rise above our natural limitations and live victoriously.
