LIVING WITH PURPOSE AND INTENTIONALITY (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SUNDAY, 18 FEBRUARY 2024
Living with purpose means aligning our priorities with God’s kingdom purposes. It involves seeking God’s guidance and wisdom in all that we do, whether it’s in our relationships, our work, or our daily interactions with others. It’s about recognizing that our lives have meaning and significance beyond the here and now, and that our actions can have a ripple effect that extends far beyond our own lifetimes.
SCRIPTURE: “But seek first the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all these things will be added to you.” — Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, as we meditate on this matter, one crucial question to ask ourselves is, “How am I using my time and resources to further God’s kingdom?” This question serves as a compass, guiding us in our daily decisions and actions. It challenges us to evaluate whether our priorities and pursuits are aligned with God’s purposes or if they are driven by selfish desires and worldly ambitions. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Using our time to further God’s kingdom involves prioritizing activities that draw us closer to Him, such as prayer, studying His Word, and engaging in fellowship with other believers.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, dearly beloved, let us learn to live each day with purpose and intentionality.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the privilege of being entrusted with time, talents, and resources. Help us to steward these gifts with wisdom and intentionality, using them to further Your kingdom and advance Your purposes in the world. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And as we live with purpose and intentionality, may our lives be a reflection of God’s love and grace, bringing glory to His name. In the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Matthew 6:33. Psalm 90:2
