Message: The love Jesus demonstrated by coming to earth calls us to love others sacrificially every day.
Christmas is the ultimate celebration of God’s love for humanity. The birth of Jesus is a powerful reminder that love is not just a feeling—it is an action. God didn’t merely say He loved the world; He showed it by sending His Son into the world to save us. Jesus’ life and sacrifice embodied perfect love, a love that sought to heal, redeem, and restore.
As followers of Christ, we are called to reflect this love in our daily lives. Jesus’ command to “love one another” is not a seasonal suggestion—it is a lifestyle. Loving others sacrificially means going beyond convenience and comfort, extending grace, forgiveness, and kindness even when it’s difficult. It means seeing people through the eyes of Jesus and serving them selflessly.
The love of Christmas doesn’t end when the decorations come down. It’s a love we carry forward into our families, friendships, workplaces, and communities. When we live out the love of Christmas, we become a reflection of Jesus to the world, drawing others to Him through our actions.
