LIFE WITHOUT CHRIST IS A CRISIS (1)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY, 5 AUGUST 2023
Beloved, I want share with you today about a special subject “Life without Christ is a crisis.” We live in a world fraught with uncertainties, anxieties, and challenges, it’s easy to become overwhelmed by the storms of life. Many people seek solace in various pursuits, hoping to find meaning and purpose, yet often feeling empty and lost. But for those who have embraced Christ, they have discovered a truth that goes beyond comprehension.
Bottom of FormSCRIPTURE: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me.” – (John 14:6 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Imagine a ship adrift in the vast ocean without a compass or guiding star. Without direction, it is at the mercy of the unpredictable tides and storms. Similarly, life without Christ is like a ship without a rudder, tossed aimlessly amidst the waves of this broken world. Yes, this is true. We tend to lean on our strength and understanding, believing that we can navigate life’s challenges on our own. But the truth of the matter is, we may find temporary success and fleeting joys, but deep within, there remains an emptiness that nothing seems to fill. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: No matter how we may see it, a man’s success in life may never be complete without Christ. It’s the presence of Christ that makes life so satisfying.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, dearly beloved, let’s come to Jesus today and remain in Him.
PRAYER: LORD JESUS, I come to You today recognizing how empty I am without You in my life. I confess my sins and surrender my life to You. Please come into my life and help my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As we surrender and rededicate our lives to Jesus once again, may the Lord fill every void in our lives, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: John 14:6
