So, beloved, having seen all the benefits and paybacks of letting God lead our lives; my guess was right as yours, when I said, it’s worth giving time to. But, however, one thing stands out, and the thing is, God does not lead a person who is not committed to His Word. You see, God uses His Word as a primary way to speak to us. The Word of God is filled with His wisdom, instruction, and commands—it is full of information about His will for our lives. So, if we you must let God lead you in life, you must commit to being a student of His Word. Any wonder, the Psalmist declared in Psalm 119:105,
SCRIPTURE: Your word is a lamp to guide my feet and a light for my path. (Psalm 119:105 NLT)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The more we read, study and fill our minds with God’s Word, the more intimately acquainted we become with Him…and the easier it becomes to know when He is speaking to our hearts. This is how it works, when we fill ourselves with God’s Word, and take the time to really know what it says—we are cooperating with God to hear from Him. So, whenever we encounter various situations in life and require His wisdom and direction, the Holy Spirit will help remind us what His Word says we should do and guide us to do them. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: The Word of God is filled with His wisdom, instruction, and commands—it is full of information about His will for our lives.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, if we you must let God lead you in life, you must commit to being a student of His Word.
PRAYER: O LORD, daily as I live, please give me the grace to commit to Your Word in my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you commit your life to being a student of God’s Word, may the Lord keep you and direct you in all your ways, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
