Focus: Joy in the Presence of Jesus
True joy is found in the presence of Jesus. When we draw near to Him, we experience a joy that is deeper than happiness. The shepherds, after hearing the angel’s announcement, hurried to find Jesus and were filled with awe and joy at His presence. This same joy is available to us today as we seek Jesus in prayer, worship, and His Word. In a world filled with distractions and worries, Advent invites us to slow down, draw close to Christ, and rejoice in His presence.
Scripture Reading:
Psalm 16:11 – “You make known to me the path of life; you will fill me with joy in your presence, with eternal pleasures at your right hand.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, take time today to intentionally rest in the presence of Jesus. Whether through quiet prayer, worship, or reading His Word, let His presence fill you with joy and peace. Stay Refreshed!

The presence of Jesus is the source of lasting and unshakable joy.

Lord, I rejoice in Your presence. Draw me close to You, and let Your joy fill every corner of my life. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
