JESUS, JESUS ALWAYS (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: FRISDAY, 12 JULY 2024
So, from the dawn of creation to this very moment, and into eternity, Jesus is always with us. This powerful truth provides a profound sense of comfort and assurance. It encapsulates the eternal nature and perpetual presence of Jesus in our lives, transcending time and space. In the opening verses of John’s Gospel, we see that Jesus, referred to as the Word, was present at the creation of the world. What does it mean? It means that Jesus is not a latecomer to history; He is the very source of creation. Everything that exists has come into being through Him, and His presence is woven into the very fabric of the universe.
SCRIPTURE: “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. He was with God in the beginning. Through him all things were made; without him nothing was made that has been made.” — John 1:1-3 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In Matthew 28:20, the Scripture assures us that Jesus’ presence is not just a historical fact but a present reality. It means, in every moment of our lives, whether we are aware of it or not, Jesus is with us. He is with us in our joys and in our sorrows, in our triumphs and in our struggles. And His presence is a constant source of strength, comfort, and guidance. In Revelation 22:13, Jesus is declared as “the Alpha and the Omega, the First and the Last, the Beginning and the End.” This means that Jesus is eternal, unchanging, and ever-present. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: From the dawn of creation to this very moment, and into eternity, Jesus is always with us.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, as we move forward into the unknowns of the future, we can trust that Jesus will continue to be with us, guiding us and holding us in His love. Our future is secure in Him.
PRAYER: Lord Jesus, thank You for being with us from the dawn of creation to this very moment, and into eternity. Help us to live in the daily reality of Your presence. Give us the faith to trust in Your constant companionship and the courage to face life’s challenges with confidence, knowing that You are always with us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
PROPHETIC WORD: May we live each day in the awareness of God’s presence, trusting in His unfailing love and grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
