It has been established that life of Christ in a person guarantees absolute peace. This simply implies that we, as God’s children bearing the nature of Christ, are guaranteed of peace in the midst of the storm. This does not exempt us from experiencing the storm, but in it, we are assured of peace. So, how can one find peace in the midst of the storm?

SCRIPTURE:

I have said these things to you, that in me you may have peace. In the world you will have tribulation. But take heart; I have overcome the world, (John 16:33) ESV

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY:

Peace is not the absence of challenges or removal of problems from life, but it is the promise of God to supply grace, strength and ability needed to overcome them when they come.

Our anchor scripture communicates the fact that in Christ Jesus, we are exempted and distinguished from the storms and situations of the world.

He had handed over to us the ‘certificate of victory’ over trials and tribulations.

So, for you to find peace in the midst of the storm, you must;

1.    Put your faith and trust in God, (Hebrew 11:6).

2.    Believe and trust in the word of God, (Psalm 119:165).

3.    Refuse to live in fear, (Psalm 46:1-3).

Beloved, having peace in your life doesn’t mean that you are above storms, No! It means no matter what situation you are in and no matter what storm you are currently facing in your life, that you will stand still knowing that Jesus is there with you, as He has overcome the world. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS:

Peace is not the absence of challenges or removal of problems from life, but it is the promise of God to supply grace, strength and ability needed to overcome them when they come.

RESPONSIBILITY:

Always be positive and trust in God’s promises.

PRAYER:

O LORD, help me to find peace in You, in Jesus name, Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD:

May the peace of God be with you and yours, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
