So, beloved, Jesus Christ is the true reason life is interesting. Without Him, we’re lost in despair and hopelessness. Just as branches can’t flourish if they’re detached from the plant, we can’t experience true life without staying connected to Christ. Any wonder, Jesus said in John 15:5,

Bottom of FormSCRIPTURE:  “I am the vine; you are the branches. Whoever abides in me and I in him, he it is that bears much fruit, for apart from me you can do nothing.” – John 15:5 (ESV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Picture a garden that hasn’t been watered in days. The flowers droop, the leaves wither, and the beauty fades away. Without Christ in our lives, our spirits too can wither, leaving us in a state of desolation. But as we abide in Him, we’re nourished by His truth, grace, and love, and our lives become like well-watered gardens, vibrant and flourishing. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Just as branches can’t flourish if they’re detached from the vine, we can’t experience true life without staying connected to Christ.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, dearly beloved, let’s seek the Lord and abide in Him. As we abide in Him through prayer, reading His Word, and cultivating a personal relationship, we are transformed from vessels of hopelessness to vessels of hope.

PRAYER: O LORD JESUS, I come to Thee and surrender my life to Thee. Cause me to know Thee more and abide in Thee all the days of my life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!

PROPHETIC WORD: As you continue to abide in Christ, may you thrive and flourish in all that you do in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
