Yet again, beloved, exploring deeper into this matter; there is one point we should note about walking in righteousness of God. In as much as being intentional is a key, perseverance is the moral fibre of a righteous life. The path of righteousness is often fraught with challenges and obstacles. It requires perseverance to overcome temptations, endure trials, and withstand opposition. Perseverance involves staying committed to our faith and convictions, even when faced with adversity or discouragement. It means pressing on despite setbacks or failures and trusting in God’s strength to sustain us through difficult times.
SCRIPTURE: “But seek first his kingdom and his righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well.” – Matthew 6:33 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Without perseverance, we may falter in our journey, succumbing to doubt, fear, or weariness. But with perseverance, we can run the race set before us with endurance, knowing that the reward of righteousness far outweighs any temporary struggles we may face. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: By intentionally seeking after God and persevering in our walk with Him, we demonstrate our love and devotion to Him. And as we remain faithful and steadfast, God promises to reward those who diligently seek Him (Hebrews 11:6).
RESPONSIBILITY: So let us be intentional in our pursuit of righteousness, and let us persevere with unwavering faith, knowing that our labor in the Lord is never in vain (1 Cor. 15:58).
PRAYER: O LORD, we surrender our plans and ambitions to You, trusting that Your ways are higher than our ways. Guide us, in the decisions we face each day and give us discernment to recognize the paths that lead to righteousness and the strength to follow them. In the name of Jesus, we pray, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: And as we journey onward, may your Word be a lamp unto our feet and a light unto our path, illuminating the way forward. In the name of Jesus, Amen!
