GUARD YOUR MIND AGAINST NEGATIVITY (2)

So, beloved, I believe it more than any other thing that, being positive in our attitude is what determines the kind of life we are going to have. It has a way of forming a person and keep aligning him to the purpose of God upon his life. So, now, how do we fix it and get it right? It’s focusing on the right thing. You see, a positive attitude is a result of focusing on the right thing—God. When we focus on the problem instead of on God, we miss His perception of our situation. Thus, the Bible says in Colossians 3:2,

SCRIPTURE:  Set your minds on things that are above, not on things that are on earth. (Colossians 3:2 ESV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Now, being negative may not seem like a big deal at first; but having a negative attitude will never help us nor make us happy. It’s especially important for us to guard our minds against negativity and to maintain a positive attitude because God is positive. And when we are positive, it releases Him to work in our lives. Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: A positive attitude is a result of focusing on the right thing—God. When we focus on the problem instead of on God, we miss His perception of our situation.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, I strongly encourage you once more, to more than ever, grow a positive attitude.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to guard my mind against negativity and develop a positive attitude, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord give you the grace to guard your heart against negativity, even as you grow positive attitude, in your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
