GUARD YOUR MIND AGAINST NEGATIVITY

Sometimes, the situations of life tend to whisper and utter negativity into our minds. And if care is not taken, it grows into thoughts that would hamper our spiritual development and cause untold havoc to our life and destiny. But, beloved, it is time we began to express our total stand and commitment to God. We must not continue to cater and accommodate the projection of the enemy concerning our future. We must learn to cultivate and build an attitude of hope in our lives and guard our minds against every negative thought. And one sure way we can achieve that is to walk in wisdom. Any wonder, the Bible says in Proverbs 28:26,
SCRIPTURE: Whoever trusts in his own mind is a fool, but he who walks in wisdom will be delivered. (Proverbs 28:26 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Walking in wisdom entails being positive and professing the same about your life and future. And refused to be negative. Even when the negative feelings come, decide to remain hopeful, stand your ground and don’t give in to your feelings. It may not be so easy, but you need to ask the Holy Spirit to help and lead you. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Accommodating negativity feeds and empowers it. But standing our ground and not giving in to it starves it and causes it to lose its power over us.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, I strongly encourage you, to cultivate an attitude of hope in your life. Speak positive things about your future and refuse to be negative.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to guard my mind against negativity, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the Lord give you the grace to overcome every form of negativity in your life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
