GOD IS WORKING IN YOUR WAITING
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY 15 MAY 2021
The waiting period remains the most difficult moments in life, until one begins to understand certain life’s principles and its application. At creation; first day, God created the heavens and the earth, and on the fourth day, He created the moon, the sun and the stars. Notice that, God didn’t create the moon, the sun and the stars before the heavens and the earth; He knew that the moon, the sun and the sky can only function on the earth to give it light.
And there was a waiting time in-between the days of creation. In fact, the scripture says, “and evening pass and morning came”; to illustrate the waiting period. In the waiting period God was working, He was calculating in His Omniscient what next He would create; and in that same way God is working in your waiting.
SCRIPTURE: Wait patiently for the LORD. Be brave and courageous. Yes, wait patiently for the LORD. (Psalm 27:14) NLT
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In our waiting, something is actually happening while we think nothing is happening. God is busy working for our good.
Beloved. waiting is a time for change, it’s a time of learning, it’s a time of submission, trusting and believing in God. We learn to submit totally to God’s Word, to trust in His powers and believing in Him. It’s not a time of regrets nor complain. In our waiting, we can only believe that God is in charge, and there’s a purpose behind our waiting. And we’re not at the mercy of our circumstances, because God is working in our waiting. Stay Lifted!
NOTE THIS: In our waiting, something is actually happening while we think nothing is happening. God is busy working for our good.
RESPONSIBILITY: Always trust in the Lord, and believe that His plans for you are for good.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to be patient, even as I wait on You, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
PROPHETIC WORD: May the LORD perfects everything that concerns you, in the name of Jesus, Amen.
