GOD DOESN’T MAKE MISTAKES

TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL

DATE: SATURDAY 6 MARCH 2021

Sometimes going through life, we think we’re lacking in some area. And consciously or not, it begins to heap an inexpressible anger and frustration on us. “How I wish I’m a woman and come from a different family”, “If I had a better personality, I would be intelligent and smart”. At some point, it degenerates to the thoughts and feelings that God makes mistakes.

But as long as you’re frustrated and fuming about yourself, thinking you’re short-changed, it’s going to keep you from rising higher. God doesn’t make mistakes. Because you don’t have what others have, doesn’t mean you are lacking. Know it that, there’s what you have that they don’t have. When God created you, He made you complete, unique and beautiful of your kind, He didn’t accidentally leave anything out. You’re not lacking, you have everything you need to fulfil your destiny.

SCRIPTURE: The LORD is my shepherd; I have everything I need, (Psalm 23:1) GNT

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: All you have is what you need.

Beloved, sometimes life will try to shove us aside and will remind us of everything that we’re not and don’t have. But just like David in our anchor scripture, learn to stand strong in faith and remind yourself that you have everything you need. God didn’t create you in error, you’re complete in Him, (Col 2:10). He calls you a masterpiece, (Eph 2:10), He’s favored you. You are a royal priesthood and royalty flows through your veins, (1 Peter 2:9).

So, quit comparing yourself with someone else and be you. Accept who you are and be proud of all you are. You are powerful and amazing. Nobody can be you, like you can be to yourself. Stay Lifted!

NOTE THIS: All you have is what you need.

RESPONSIBILITY: Be grateful to God for all you are. Filter negativity out from your mind, replace with the truth that God doesn’t make mistakes.

PRAYER:  O LORD, thank You for who I am; I’m not a mistake, I’m blessed, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)

PROPHETIC WORD: May God bless you and make you a blessing to generations, in the name of Jesus, Amen.

BIBLE TEXTS: Psm 23:1, Col 2:10, Eph 2:10, 1 Pt 2:9
