GET READY FOR ABUNDANCE (2)

So, there is one key principle that regulates abundance. God’s promise and assurance of abundance is for everyone, but its manifestations are for only those who are ready. Yes, it’s so true. This is the reason why too many persons are praying for God’s abundance upon their lives, but it could only find expression in just a few. This doesn’t mean God is partial, but it simply means that God values and respects obedience to His instructions. Having said so, it’s wise, we turn to the pages of the Scriptures to understand how the principle works.

SCRIPTURE: Therefore keep the words of this covenant and do them, that you may prosper in all that you do. (Deut 29:9 ESV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Recall in Matthew 14:13-21, Jesus was out in the desert, teaching the people. It was late in the day; they were all hungry. Jesus told his disciples to feed them. Well, they were in the middle of nowhere. They said, “Jesus, all we have are five loaves of bread and two fish”. Jesus told them to have the people sit in groups of 50 and a 100. The disciples went out and counted the people, put them in different groups – there were 5,000 men there, plus the women and children. Jesus prayed over the food, and it multiplied – as they served the people, the food kept coming. When it was all over, they had twelve baskets full of food left over.

Note that, as long as they were standing and scattered around the desert, Jesus didn’t pray over the food. He waited until they were all seated and settled. Such is the case of too many of us. We’re still not ready to see abundance. But, beloved, I pray for you today, whatever that’s distracting you and makes you not ready to see abundance, I frustrate it now in Jesus’ name, Amen! Stay Refreshed!

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, get ready for your abundance.

PRAYER: O LORD, I make demands from Heaven that my abundance comes speedily, and cause me to be ready it, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you’re ready for your abundance, may God’s blessings overshadow you and yours, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
