So, beloved, when you feel like you are getting off course your purpose in life, pray to God for guidance and direction. Prayer gives us direction at the time of confusion and gets us back on track. It gives feet and support to our plans and intentions, lest we go astray. That was the case of the people of Israel in Jeremiah 42:3, and they pleaded with Jeremiah and said to him,

SCRIPTURE: Pray that the LORD your God will tell us the way we should walk and the thing we should do.” (Jeremiah 42:3 BSB)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: The people of Israel were in a serious position, with chaos and difficulty within the camp and enemies on every side. They were confused and didn’t know what to do and where to go. And so, they pleaded with Jeremiah to pray to the Lord on their behalf. The Bible has it in (vs 9) that Jeremiah prayed to God on their behalf and God gave them direction and showed them what to do. So, beloved, you see, God is still in the business of answering prayers and giving directions to the confused minds. But only if you can sincerely call upon Him, and He will answer you (Jer 33:3). Stay Refreshed!

NOTE THIS: Prayer gives us direction at the time of confusion and difficulty and gets us back on track.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, you must fan into flame your prayer altar, even as you pray your way out.

PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to keep my prayer altar burning at all times, and give me direction in times of confusion, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As you pray, may the Lord give you direction and clarity of purpose in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
