FIRE ON THE ALTAR: A LIFE OF A PERSISTENT PRAYER (3)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Friday, 14 February 2025
Focus: The Power of Persistent Prayer
Message:
Your calling must be fueled by prayer. A life without prayer is a life without power. Prayer is the fire that keeps our spirit alive, our faith strong, and our connection with God unbroken. This devotional series will guide you into a lifestyle of unceasing prayer and deep communion with God.
Key Verse:
đź“– 1 Thessalonians 5:17 – “Pray without ceasing.”
Jesus taught us to keep praying and never give up (Luke 18:1). Many prayers go unanswered not because God said no, but because we gave up too soon. Elijah prayed seven times before the rain came (1 Kings 18:43). Daniel prayed for 21 days before his answer arrived (Daniel 10:12-13). What if they had stopped too early? God rewards persistent prayer. Keep pressing in, even when the answer seems delayed.
Scripture Reading:
đź“– Luke 18:1 – “Then Jesus told His disciples a parable to show them that they should always pray and not give up.”
