ENCOURAGE ONE ANOTHER (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: THURSDAY, 30 JUNE 2022
Another great way to encourage others is by speaking kind words to them. Kind words like the Scripture says are like a honeycomb, sweet and delight to the soul and healing to the body, (Proverbs 16:24). We may never understand the powers of kind words until we begin to speak it to others. It can invigorate a wounded spirit and rejuvenate a broken heart. Speaking kind words to others communicates we believe in them. There are people in our life, when they know we believe in them, they’ll start believing in themselves in a new way.
SCRIPTURE: But encourage one another daily, … so that none of you may be hardened by sin’s deceitfulness. (Hebrew 3:13 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, you must learn to say kind words to people around you– your spouse, your colleague, and your neighbors. Don’t take for granted the people around you, they need what you have. Your kind words may be what motivates them into greatness. They need to hear you speak it to them. You may say, “I think good about them”. Yes, that’s right; but it’s not enough to just think it, also speak it. Your thoughts alone can’t inspire them. They need your validation, your encouragement, and your blessing. That’s what will push them into their destiny. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Kind words don’t just only inspire people, it also gets down into their spirit, and brings a new level of confidence.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, sincerely desire to always speak kind words to others.
PRAYER: O LORD, guide me to speak kind words to others, and truly mean what I speak to them, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you speak kind words to others to inspire them, may you be inspired beyond measures, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
BIBLE TEXTS: Hebrew 3:13, Proverbs 16:24
