The beauty of life comes forth and shines brighter when we encourage one another. This is a simple act that does wonders. Just a simple compliment, “You look incredibly great today”, can nourish a soul. It can make someone healthier and happier. We live in a difficult world; people are going through a lot. It may not show on their faces, but their hearts are heavy. So, when you care for them, a simple call will do to inspire them, “I just call to say I care, you’re in my prayers”. Believe me, you’ve not just only encouraging them, but you’re bringing healing to their body. Any wonder the Bible says in Proverbs 16:24,
SCRIPTURE: “Pleasant words are like a honeycomb, Sweet and delightful to the soul and healing to the body.” (Proverbs 16:24 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, I tell you sincerely, the reason some people are not happy in life is no one is encouraging them, and no one cares for them, people are so nasty to them, so they become miserable, rejected, and despondent. And there are people God has put in your life, they need your encouragement. They may not need your money, just your kind word is what would push them into their destiny. So, don’t let a day go by that you don’t encourage anyone. Always care to lift people up and put a smile on their faces. And when you do it, don’t discriminate it. Don’t assume some people are good, while others are not. Encourage all equally and remember when you encourage others, you’re encouraged. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Encouragement is a simple act that does wonders; as simple as it may be, it has incredible power to transform even the heaviest soul.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, sincerely desire to always encourage others.
PRAYER: O LORD, teach me how to encourage others, even as You cause me to make it a habit, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
