EMBRACING SALVATION: A NEW LIFE IN CHRIST (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: SATURDAY, 15 JULY 2023
The journey of salvation begins with acknowledging our need for a Savior. It is recognizing that we have all fallen short of God’s perfect standard and that our sins separate us from Him. Yet, the good news is that God’s love is greater than our shortcomings. He eagerly awaits our return, ready to embrace us with open arms.
SCRIPTURE: Surely the arm of the Lord is not too short to save, nor His ear too dull to hear. But your iniquities have separated you from your God; your sins have hidden His face from you, so that He will not hear, (Isaiah 59:1-2 NIV).
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: When we accept Jesus into our lives, we experience a transformation from within. The Holy Spirit comes to dwell in our hearts, empowering us to live a life that reflects God’s love and righteousness. As we grow in our relationship with Him, we discover the joy of surrendering our will to His and finding true purpose and fulfillment. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Salvation is not the end of our journey but the beginning of a lifelong adventure with our Heavenly Father. It is a journey of continual growth, where we strive to align our thoughts, words, and actions with the teachings of Christ.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, let us embark on this beautiful journey of faith and experience forgiveness and eternal life with our Heavenly Father.
PRAYER: Heavenly Father, thank You for the gift of salvation through Your Son, Jesus Christ. Give me the grace to embrace salvation and cause me to walk in the freedom and joy that salvation brings, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you embrace salvation, may you begin to experience the true joy and transformative power it brings, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
