So, it’s true that every great dream could suffer setbacks. We all have times where what we’re hoping for is not happening as fast as we would like. Maybe we’re believing and trusting God for a breakthrough in life and career, to meet the right person in marriage, or see our family problems restored. But it’s taking so long, longer than usual. And it’s tempting for us to get sour or lose our passion. But then, beloved, while you’re waiting instead of dragging through the day, learn to trust in God, keep believing and don’t put your dreams on hold. Hear what the Lord is saying to you in Joel 2:25, He says,
SCRIPTURE: I will restore to you the years that the swarming locust has eaten… (Joel 2:25 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, don’t let the setbacks and the troubles of life to make you put your dreams on hold. Learn to forge ahead, pursuing your dreams, using your gifts to serve God. I promise you, at the right time, the Lord will restore to you all that you’ve lost and establish greatly you in life. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Troubles of life may take everything from you, but never let it take away your joy and cause you to put your dreams on hold.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, never give up, just keep trusting and believing in God.
PRAYER: O LORD, cause me never to give up. Give me the grace to always trust and believe in You, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you keep trusting and believing in God, may the Lord prosper you and make you flourish, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
