DON’T GIVE UP, PUT YOUR TRUST IN JESUS

Beloved, life is full of challenges, and there are moments when the weight of our burdens feels overwhelming. Perhaps you are going through a season where nothing seems to go right. The prayers you’ve fervently whispered in the stillness of your heart appear unanswered, and hope seems to be slipping through your fingers like sand. In times like these, the temptation to give up can be powerful. But it’s in these moments of despair that God calls us to do something radical—something that goes against our natural instincts. He calls us to trust Him.
SCRIPTURE: “Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight.” — Proverbs 3:5-6 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: To trust means to place our confidence and hope in something or someone. And as believers, we are called to place our trust not in our circumstances, our abilities, or even in other people, but in Jesus Christ.
Jesus understands every trial and temptation we face because He, too, walked this earth and experienced its pain. He endured suffering, betrayal, and even death on the cross, but He did so with a purpose—to offer us a hope that transcends our temporary struggles. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When we put our trust in Jesus, we are not trusting in someone who is distant or indifferent to our pain. We are trusting in the One who has already overcome the world.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, if you find yourself at the brink of giving up, I encourage you to hold on. Don’t give up. Trust in Jesus, the One who loves you more than you can comprehend. He is with you, even in the darkest valleys, and His plans for you are filled with hope and a future (Jeremiah 29:11).
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, thank You for Your unfailing love and for being our constant source of hope. When the storms of life threaten to overwhelm us, help us to remember Your faithfulness. Teach us to trust You fully, even when we don’t understand the path You’ve set before us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
PROPHETIC WORD: May God strengthen our hearts and remind us that in Him, we are victorious today and always. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
