Over again, beloved, another key to discovering peace in the arms Christ is to “rest in the Lord”. Rest is not merely the absence of activity or busyness; it is a state of being that encompasses tranquility, peace, and restoration in every aspect of our lives. Resting in God means letting go of the need to strive in our own strength. It involves trusting in God’s provision and timing, rather than relying on our own efforts.
SCRIPTURE: “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you and learn from me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls.” — Matthew 11:28-29 (NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: True rest is found in the presence of God. It is in His presence that we experience deep peace and restoration for our souls (Psalm 23:2-3). Spending time in prayer, worship, and meditation allows us to rest in Christ’s loving embrace. Stay Refreshed!

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, take time to pause, be still, and bask in God’s love and presence. Allow His peace to wash over you and refresh your soul.
PRAYER: O LORD, thank You for the gift of rest that You offer freely to all who come to You. May we abide in Your rest today and always, finding solace in Your embrace and joy in Your presence. In Jesus’ name, we pray, Amen!
