Beloved, I want to share with you on another, yet important matter of life—”Discover to Soar”. The reason why too many of us, including the Christians are confused and stagnated in life today is owed to the fact that we are yet to discover the reason for our existence. God at creation deposited in us wonderful resources, talents, and abilities to thrive and succeed, but we float on the surface. We ignorantly allow those resources wasted and untapped, while we chase shadows. But until we sincerely take out time to discover who we are and why we exist, we may be greatly endowed, still living insignificantly.

SCRIPTURE: The Spirit of the Lord is upon me, because he has anointed me to proclaim good news to the poor. He has sent me to proclaim liberty to the captives and recovering of sight to the blind, to set at liberty those who are oppressed, (Luke 4:18 ESV)

REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: This matter finds relevance, especially in our world today, where everybody wants to succeed, irrespective of what they do. Without proper divine enquiry, everybody ventures into what’s trending, not minding if it’s their calling. As long as it puts food on their table, they don’t care. They, thereby struggle endlessly. But, beloved, life is not meant to be lived that way. There is a reason why God created you. He created you to do something, not anything.

Note, in Luke 4:18, when the scroll of prophet Isaiah was handed to Jesus, He unrolled it and declared, “The Spirit of the Lord is upon me…” And he continued to proclaim His earthly ministry. Jesus didn’t assume any trending profession, business, nor career, He simply declared his ministry. But one thing stood out, “The Spirit of the Lord was upon Him”. So, for any man to truly discover his reason of existence to soar on in life, the Spirit of the Lord must be upon him. So, the big question now is, Is the Spirit of the Lord upon you? We will continue tomorrow, but till then, stay refreshed!

NOTE THIS: For a man to discover and soar higher in life and destiny, the Spirit of the Lord must be upon Him.

RESPONSIBILITY: So, ask God for the presence of His Spirit you’re your life.

PRAYER: O LORD, send forth your Spirit upon my life and give me the grace to discover the reason of my existence and to soar above impossibilities, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)

PROPHETIC WORD: As the Spirit of the Lord comes upon you, may He illuminate every darkness in your life, even as you discover the reason of your existence to soar higher in life, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
