DETERMINATION IS EVERYTHING

In every achievement we make in life there are inherent contributory factors to it. Amongst the factors includes the God-factor. However, aside the God-factor, there is “the determination factor”. It’s a firmness of purpose. Being resolute, steadfast to be successful, and unyielding to quit until victory is accomplished. This is what the apostle Paul encourages in 1 Corinthians 9:24, when he says,
SCRIPTURE: Do you not know that in a race all the runners run, but only one receives the prize? So run that you may obtain it. (1 Corinthians 9:24 ESV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: So, beloved, I can tell you that determination is everything. Determination makes the difference. It sets a man apart from the others. It’s really not about natural gifting or talent. But it’s about being determined to do something with what we have. As God works through us, He encourages us to be steadfast, stable and determined to never give up. We need to make up our minds that we will never give up when facing difficulty and opposition. Though we may not hit it right every time or the first time, but we shouldn’t quit in the process. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Determination is everything. It’s not about what we have or don’t have; it’s about being determined to never, ever, ever give up.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, make up your mind that you will never give up in life, no matter how hopeless.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace for determination, and cause me to remain resolute and never to give up in life, in Jesus’ name, Amen! (Go ahead and pray for other intentions as the Spirit leads)
PROPHETIC WORD: As you have determined to succeed, may the Lord cause you to be resolute in all your pursuits, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
