COMMITTED TO THE CALL (6)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Monday, 3 February 2025
Focus: Trusting God with the Process
Message: A new year is a fresh opportunity to commit wholeheartedly to God’s call and purpose for our lives. Just as Paul pressed on toward the goal, we too must run with perseverance, surrendering to God’s will and embracing the journey He has set before us.
Key Verse: Philippians 3:14 – “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
God’s call is a journey, not a single event. Many times, we expect immediate results, but God works through seasons of preparation, growth, and refinement. Abraham waited years before seeing God’s promise fulfilled. Joseph endured betrayal, slavery, and prison before stepping into his destiny. Even Jesus spent thirty years in preparation before beginning His public ministry.
Trusting God with the process means believing that He is working even when you can’t see the full picture. It means surrendering your timeline and allowing Him to shape your character. Delays do not mean denial—God is strengthening your faith, deepening your roots, and aligning circumstances in His perfect time.
Beloved, if you feel like you’re in a waiting season, take heart. God’s plans for you are still unfolding, and every step is part of His greater purpose. Keep trusting, keep growing, and keep walking forward in faith.
Scripture Reading:
Ecclesiastes 3:11 – “He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the human heart; yet no one can fathom what God has done from beginning to end.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, instead of rushing the process, ask God to reveal what He wants to teach you in this season. Trust that He is working behind the scenes to fulfill His plans for your life. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
God’s timing is perfect, and every season of waiting is a season of preparation.
Responsibility:
What is one area where you need to surrender your timeline and trust God’s process?
Prayer:
O Lord, I trust that You are working all things for my good. Help me to be patient and faithful in the process, knowing that Your plans are always perfect. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Prophetic Declaration:
I declare that I trust God’s process, and I will wait patiently for His perfect timing. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
Bible Texts:
Philippians 3:14, Eccl. 3:11
