Focus: Staying Faithful in the Small Things
Message: A new year is a fresh opportunity to commit wholeheartedly to God’s call and purpose for our lives. Just as Paul pressed on toward the goal, we too must run with perseverance, surrendering to God’s will and embracing the journey He has set before us.
Key Verse: Philippians 3:14 – “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Many times, we look for grand opportunities to serve God, but often, His greatest work begins in the small, unseen acts of faithfulness. Before David became king, he was faithful as a shepherd. Before Joseph ruled in Egypt, he was faithful as a servant and a prisoner.
God honors faithfulness in the little things. It is in these moments that our character is shaped, our obedience is tested, and our faith is strengthened. Jesus said that those who are faithful with little will be entrusted with much. If we desire to fulfill God’s calling, we must be willing to serve in the small, everyday moments of life.
Are you committed to doing the small tasks with excellence, as unto the Lord? The way you steward your current responsibilities is a reflection of how God can trust you with greater things in the future.
Scripture Reading:
Luke 16:10 – “Whoever can be trusted with very little can also be trusted with much, and whoever is dishonest with very little will also be dishonest with much.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, examine your attitude toward the small tasks and responsibilities in your life. Choose to honor God in the seemingly simple ways, knowing that He sees and rewards faithfulness. Stay Refreshed!

Prayer:
O Lord, help me to be faithful in the small things. Teach me to serve with humility and excellence, knowing that every act of obedience matters in Your kingdom. In Jesus’ name, Amen!
