COMMITTED TO THE CALL (1)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Wednesday, 29 January 2025
Focus: Understanding God’s Call
Message: A new year is a fresh opportunity to commit wholeheartedly to God’s call and purpose for our lives. Just as Paul pressed on toward the goal, we too must run with perseverance, surrendering to God’s will and embracing the journey He has set before us.
Key Verse: Philippians 3:14 – “I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.”
Every believer has a divine call. God has uniquely designed and positioned you for a purpose beyond personal ambition. His call is not limited to preachers or missionaries—it extends to every sphere of life, including your workplace, home, and community.
Paul understood this deeply. He knew that his life had a greater purpose than his personal desires, and he pressed on to fulfill it. God’s call is not a passive invitation; it requires commitment, sacrifice, and intentional pursuit. As we step into the new year, we must ask ourselves: Am I fully committed to the call of God on my life?
Scripture Reading:
Ephesians 2:10 – “For we are God’s handiwork, created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.”
Refreshing for the Day:
So, beloved, reflect on the areas where God has called you. Are there things holding you back from fully committing? Surrender them to God and ask Him to give you clarity and boldness to pursue His will. Stay Refreshed!
Note This:
God’s call is not for a select few—it is for every believer. You have been chosen for a divine purpose.
Responsibility:
How can you commit more fully to God’s purpose for your life this year?
