When we build our lives on the foundation of Christ, we discover a joy that is not dependent on external circumstances, and a fulfillment that transcends the temporary satisfactions of this world. Jesus came so that we might experience life in its fullness, a life that is rich in meaning, purpose, and lasting contentment.
SCRIPTURE: “The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.” (John 10:10, NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In our quest for happiness, we often chase after things that promise joy but ultimately leave us feeling empty—whether it’s material possessions, achievements, or fleeting pleasures. The world offers many substitutes for true fulfillment, yet they often fail to satisfy the deep longing within our souls. However, Jesus offers us something profoundly different: a life of true joy and fulfillment, grounded in Him. Stay Refreshed!

RESPONSIBILITY: So, beloved, take time to reflect on what truly brings you joy and fulfillment. Are there areas of your life where you’ve been seeking satisfaction in things that don’t last? Consider how you can realign your priorities with God’s purpose for your life. Spend time in prayer, asking God to reveal His plans for you and to fill your heart with His joy.
PRAYER: Dear Heavenly Father, we thank You for the incredible gift of life that You offer us in Christ. We are grateful for the joy and fulfillment that come from building our lives on Him. Help us to turn away from the empty promises of this world and to seek the abundant life that Jesus came to give us. In Jesus’ name, we pray. Amen.
PROPHETIC WORD: May God fill our hearts with His joy, a joy that remains steadfast even in difficult times. And help us to find our deepest satisfaction not in the things of this world, but in our relationship with Him. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
