So, beloved, no matter what may come your way in this life, don’t let it take away your peace. Always cast your cares on the Lord and He will take care of you and give you rest (Psalm 55:22). You see, worry is a thief and an enemy of your destiny. If you don’t watch it, it will rob you of your joy and make you sleepless at night. But when you understand this principle and learn to cast all your cares and worries on the Lord, He will sustain you in peace.
SCRIPTURE: I have set the LORD always before me; Because He is at my right hand I shall not be moved. (Psalm 16:8 NKJV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: In the Scripture, David faced all kinds of opposition. People came against him; enemies were trying to take his life. He could’ve lived worried, but he understood this principle. He said, “The Lord is my shepherd. I shall not want…He leads me by the still waters” (Psalm 23:1-2). And the Lord gave him all round rest. So, dearly beloved, what are you worried about? What’s keeping you awake at night? What’s stealing your joy? Just like David, it’s time to come back to the Still Waters. Come back to God and drop all your worries to Him. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When you cast your cares on the Lord, even though you walk through the darkest valley, the Lord will protect you and comfort you.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, always cast all your cares and worries on God.
PRAYER: O LORD, I cast all my cares and worries on You, please don’t let me fall, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
PROPHETIC WORD: As you cast your cares on the Lord, may He protect you and comfort you, in the name of Jesus’ Amen!
