Focus: Embracing Sacrifice
So beloved, carrying our cross means we must embrace sacrifice, just as Jesus did. This sacrifice is not always physical but involves giving up our own comfort, preferences, or plans to follow God’s purpose. True discipleship requires us to live a life of sacrifice, knowing that in our giving, we are growing closer to Jesus. We give of ourselves—our time, our talents, and sometimes our pride—all for His glory.
Scripture Reading: “Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.” — Romans 12:1
Refreshing for the Day: Today, look for opportunities to make small sacrifices for others or for God’s kingdom. Whether it’s your time, resources, or comfort, be willing to give as Jesus gave. At the end of the day, reflect on how your sacrifices reflect your commitment to Christ. Stay Refreshed!
Note This: Sacrifice in the name of Christ is never wasted; it draws us closer to Him and brings glory to God.
