Focus: Obedience: The Posture That Hosts Glory
Message:
God is not seeking just moments of visitation—He is seeking habitation. In a generation chasing platforms, popularity, and quick encounters, God is looking for hearts that will host Him. Like the house of Obed-Edom, where the ark of God rested, your life can become a sanctuary for His presence. This devotional series is a prophetic invitation to cultivate a life that draws, welcomes, and sustains the glory of God. It is for those who long to become dwelling places—temples of divine habitation, not occasional visitation.
📖 Key Verse:
2 Samuel 6:11 – “The ark of the Lord remained in the house of Obed-Edom… and the Lord blessed him.”
Devotional:
God’s glory doesn’t rest in rebellious places. His presence is drawn to lives postured in obedience. When David attempted to bring the ark to Jerusalem the first time, he didn’t follow God’s instruction. The result was tragedy—Uzzah died because the ark was mishandled (2 Samuel 6:6–7). But after they paused, sought the Lord, and obeyed His pattern, the ark was carried correctly—and the glory returned. The presence of God is holy. He cannot be hosted casually or carried any way we please. Obedience is the protocol of glory. God told Noah how to build the ark, Moses how to construct the tabernacle, and David how to transport the ark. Every move of God comes with divine order.

So, beloved, you may hunger for revival, but are you walking in obedience to God’s Word? His glory will not rest where there is compromise. Obedience isn’t legalism; it’s love in action. If you want to carry His presence, you must walk His path. You can’t host the presence of God your way—you must follow His way. Stay Refreshed!
