BURNING ALTARS: A LIFESTYLE OF DEEP PRAYER AND INTIMACY (4)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Saturday, 8 March 2025
Focus: The Power of Intercession – Standing in the Gap
A burning prayer altar is not just for personal breakthroughs—it is a place of intercession. To be on fire for God means to stand in the gap for your family, your city, and your nation. Abraham interceded for Sodom, and God listened to him (Genesis 18:23-33). Moses stood in the gap for Israel and saved them from destruction (Exodus 32:11-14). Jesus is still interceding for us at the right hand of the Father (Romans 8:34).
Intercession is not just praying for yourself—it is partnering with God to bring heaven’s will to earth. It is warfare, birthing, and standing in the gap for others! When we intercede, we block demonic attacks, shift atmospheres, and open doors for revival.
Scripture Reading:
📖 Ezekiel 22:30 – “I looked for someone among them who would build up the wall and stand before me in the gap on behalf of the land so I would not have to destroy it, but I found no one.”
