BURNING ALTARS: A LIFESTYLE OF DEEP PRAYER AND INTIMACY (2)
Times Of Refreshing Daily Devotional
Date: Thursday, 6 March 2025
Focus: The Fire Must Never Go Out
Message:
The altar of prayer is where spiritual fire is sustained. If the fire of prayer burns low, spiritual life weakens. God is calling a generation of burning ones—believers who will keep the flame alive, refuse to be lukewarm, and live in deep intimacy with Him.
This devotional will rekindle your prayer life, awaken fresh passion, and lead you into a deeper lifestyle of communion with God. 🔥🔥🔥
Key Verse:
📖 Leviticus 6:13 – “The fire must be kept burning on the altar continuously; it must not go out.”
When God commanded Moses to establish the altar of burnt offering, He gave a clear instruction: “The fire must not go out.” This means that prayer is not an event—it is a lifestyle! Daniel prayed three times a day, no matter what (Daniel 6:10). Jesus often withdrew to pray alone (Luke 5:16). The early church was devoted to prayer and power followed (Acts 2:42).
Beloved, the enemy’s goal is to quench your fire through distractions, discouragement, and busyness. Guard your flame! Never let a day go by without communion with God.
Scripture Reading:
📖 1 Thessalonians 5:17 – “Pray without ceasing.”
