BRING GOD INTO THE PICTURE (2)
TIMES OF REFRESHING ONLINE DAILY DEVOTIONAL www.thefountspring.org
DATE: WEDNESDAY, 21 DECEMBER 2022
So, beloved, when you bring God into the picture of your life, He will cause every bitter experience to become sweet and when you involve Him in your situations, He will transform your disappointments into appointments. That was the case of Moses and the children of Israel in the desert as they journeyed to the promised land (Exodus 15:22-26). When they came to a place called Marah, they could not drink its waters because they were bitter. Moses cried out to the Lord and the Lord showed him a tree, which Moses cast into the waters. When he did that, the Bible says that “the waters were made sweet.”
SCRIPTURE: “If you listen carefully to the Lord your God and do what is right in his eyes, if you pay attention to his commands and keep all his decrees, I will not bring on you any of the diseases I brought on the Egyptians, for I am the Lord, who heals you.” (Exodus 15:26 NIV)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: But then, one may ask, what made the bitter and undrinkable waters became refreshing and sweet? The answer lies in the powers of God and the efficacy of obedience to His instructions. So, beloved, I encourage you to always bring God into the picture of your life and He will turn all your bitterness into sweetness. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: When you bring God into the picture of your life, He will cause every bitter experience to become sweet and when you involve Him in your situations, He will transform your disappointments into appointments.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, consciously learn to always bring God into the picture of your life.
PRAYER: O LORD, I come to You today, give me the grace to always bring You in the picture of my life, in Jesus’ name, Amen!
