BE CONTENT IN YOUR PURSUIT

Yesterday, we said that our dreams are not going to just fall into our lap, until we’re going to reach out and grab them. So ‘reaching out’ is the key figure here, but it’s also important we learn to be content in our pursuit. Contentment sustains a man’s desire for success in his quest to achieve his God-given dreams. It simply means enjoying where you are until you get to where you’re going.
SCRIPTURE: I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want. (Phil 4:12 AMP)
REFRESHING FOR THE DAY: Beloved, over time I discovered that while it’s important to keep your God-given dreams in front of you (Hab 2:2-3), you also have to learn to be content, so you won’t be miserable on the way to the fulfillment of your dreams. But at the same time, we should never allow contentment to make us so comfortable that we forget about our goal. So, we must balance them. Stay Refreshed!
NOTE THIS: Without being content in our pursuit, we allow our dreams to torment us instead of enjoying the journey.
RESPONSIBILITY: So, learn to be content even as you reach out for your dreams.
PRAYER: O LORD, give me the grace to be content as I reach out for my dreams, in the name of Jesus’ Amen! (Go ahead and continue to pray)
